Yes, I know most of you will cringe when I say bean dip is good. I promise this hearty and healthy bean dip is not just good, it’s amazing! It’s pretty cheap too!
Keep in mind as you prep the veggies, you want them to fit in a tortilla chip scoop!
When I make this dip, I use canned corn just because I love the simplicity, but you can use frozen corn or fresh. I would use about a cup and a half.
Next are the beans. Again, we’re using a canned product. I know this isn’t my typical style, but this recipe is a quick, easy and cheap appetizer. Even I cheat at times!

The beans are simply what are called a six-bean mix. The are NOT the marinated versions used in salads, rather the cheaper canned beans.
Make sure you rinse the beans really well before adding them to your dip bowl. Shake off as much of the water as you possibly can.

Add one small bottle of low-fat Catalina-style dressing, and fold all the ingredients to combine well.
Once you have mixed all the ingredients, you can enjoy them with your favourite tortilla chips. This dip costs next to nothing to make yet is healthy and delicious. The sweetness from the salad dressing ensures even kids will love it!
The dip keeps for roughly one week in the fridge if sealed properly.
